Genesis

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, was established in 1964. It operates under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) headquartered in New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school caters to a diverse student body from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, representing a microcosm of India. With an enrollment of approximately 2,300 students and a staff of 75, the school fosters a spirit of unity and brotherhood among its students while striving for excellence.
